1. How do I place an order?

The easiest way to place an order is online on the Buy Now page. To add/remove items to the shopping cart, click on "+" and "–" buttons and confirm your shipping destination and method. To proceed with purchase, click on the CHECKOUT button and select your preferred payment method. Then enter your billing and shipping details in the appropriate fields, and click SUBMIT ORDER button. You should then receive a confirmation email with the details of your purchase (please note the confirmation email does not contain tracking information). To make sure that the item ships on time, please check the accuracy of all the information submitted.
If you prefer to order by phone, call 1-888-629-6266 (10am-5pm EST) and our sales staff will be happy to walk you through the purchase process.

2. I made a mistake in my Billing/Shipping address.

When you become aware of the mistake, please contact us and let us know about the issue as soon as possible. Sometimes orders ship the same day and may not be possible to correct, therefore please double check all information to make sure you put the correct shipping address and e-mail prior to submitting the order.

3. What are the payment options?

The accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diner's Club, and Paypal. Other credit cards, including Discover, Maestro, Solo, etc. may be used through the Paypal system.

4. When does the order ship and what is the shipping time?

All orders placed before 4pm EST on regular working days are shipped the same day. Orders received after 4pm EST are shipped the next business day. Please see estimated shipping times in the Shipping Section.

5. How do I track my order?

A tracking number is issued after the item has been shipped from the warehouse. If the carrier service includes tracking, you will receive a shipping notification email with a tracking number, which may be used to check the status of the shipment online. Depending on the carrier service, tracking may not be available. For example, USPS mail service only provides delivery confirmation. It may take 3-4 business days to receive a reference number, and delivery confirmation is posted after the item is delivered.

6. I received a tracking number, but the shipment status is not posted.

Some carriers do not update the shipping status frequently, and may only post a delivery confirmation after the package is delivered. Not to worry. Please be patient as 97% of our orders are shipped on time.

7. What is your return policy?

You may return or exchange your order within 30 days of purchase for any reason, provided that the item is in its original package with all package contents intact, and in complete resalable condition. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by a return form. Upon receipt, please allow up to 10 days for us to inspect the product and issue a refund or credit, less a twenty percent restocking fee. Please note that the buyer is responsible for return postage charges. Please see more information on returns in the Policies Section.

8. What is the size of the dots?

Each Nanodot is around 5mm in diameter, which is the ideal calculated size-to-strength ratio for complex shape stability.

9. Are the Nanodots coated with real silver and gold?

Yes, the Silver and Gold edition Nanodots are coated with authentic Sterling Silver and Real Gold.

10. My Silver Nanodots turned a darker color.

Because the Silver edition Nanodots are coated with authentic silver, it may naturally tarnish (turn dark) as a result of contact with sulfur elements contained in rubber, paper, air, or other sulfur-containing compounds. If tarnished, you may easily wash off the tarnish by hand and soft cloth in water, and you may occasionally polish the surface. However, frequent polishing is not recommended as it may gradually wear away the coating. The best way to ensure that Nanodots do not tarnish is to use them regularly.

11. Do Nanodots lose magnetic strength over time, and how long can I expect them to last?

Nanodots are permanent magnets, and will never deplete or lose strength, unless the magnets are exposed to heat above 100°C (212°F). Nanodots are built for regular use, and can be expected to last for at least two years. If they become dirty, simply wash them in soapy water, rinse, and dry, and you're good to go.
